Ruby Reign

Since childhood, I have had an infatuation with all things beauty related, more specifically hair and makeup. In 2015, I transferred high schools because the one I previously went to did not have a cosmetology program. Given that I wanted to graduate as a licensed cosmetologist and begin my career upon graduation, I switched to a school that met my needs. With discipline, determination and diligence, I was one out of the 5 girls that graduated licensed out of a class of 24.

I moved to Atlanta in 2019, since then I have been my way through the industry while studying to attain my degree in communications (2021). Through college, I worked in commission-based salons, booth rental salons and even hair boutiques. Over time I have been gathering information about what I like and dislike as well as noting potential changes that I can make in my career as a beauty professional, as well as with the beauty industry as a whole. My top priorities include quality, stellar service and education. With delivering quality one can provide stellar service and with knowing what it takes, educating those to come. Keeping those core values in mind, I have been able to gradually advance my career in the beauty industry. Through conquering challenges, I persevered to learn more lessons. Although I have come far, there is still much further to go in my journey, this is just the beginning.
